Astrology and also the New Age Movement On the net

By Gilbert Karlis

As the New Age movement is in accordance with the belief that everything and everybody inside universe is spiritually interconnected, that idea lends itself to a wide quantity of beliefs which promote it, including the connection of everything during the cosmos, mystical power named "energy" or "energy fields," and, of course, astrology. An individual type of astrology, very different within the usual kinds which are much more well-known, is a lot aligned towards the New Age movement and its beliefs; it is called Karmic astrology.

Founded by Martin Shulman, belief in karmic astrology is according to the notion of karma what 1 particular person sees and perceives is numerous from what one more specific person sees or experiences within the same situation, as a result of each having his or her own life lessons to process, lessons which had been not satisfactorily processed in one's past lives. Rather than assessing the differences of individual folks as becoming as a result of each getting his or her own unique personality, mind and emotions, karmic astrology stresses that it's a matter of 1 having not correctly fulfilled his karmic role in his previous lives. Karmic astrology stands out as the only form of astrology which bases its conclusions on reincarnation; and that one's real influence, which covers everything from one's opinions to one's approaches of experience, just isn't coming from one's present-day life, it's coming from one's past.

The sorts of astrology which most individuals are familiar with Western astrology, Chinese astrology, Indian or Vedic astrology emphasizes the events in a person's life and how to affect certain direction. Karmic astrology, however, views the individual's life as that which has been reincarnated for the purpose of completing that which had not been completed in his previous life aspects of himself and his life which he should improve, change, and grow.

In tune with this concept are New Age practices for instance "alternative" medicine, which eat many non-medical angles such as herbs and massage during the treatment of medical conditions, and, even much more strongly stressed, and even inside absence of any this sort of diseases or conditions, focusing on the individual person's must "heal."

Although it has not been categorically explained, it appears that placing these kinds of a strong emphasis on a person's must heal is according to the New Age movement's view of reincarnation that simply being in this life coincides of the Karmic belief that a person has not gained closure from whatever came before. Consequently, karmic astrology differs in the far more widely-accepted varieties of astrology in that whilst the focus in the latter is on charting the course of a person's life and guiding direction in your person's finest possible potential, the focus of karmic astrology is basically on "fixing what is wrong with" a person.

As such, individuals who claim being professionals in the scope of karmic astrology are far different within the far more frequent astrologers, preferring terminology including "healing" and also the misuse of other esoteric language, generally called "psychobabble." In other words, karmic astrology bears extremely smaller resemblance towards the concepts and practices which most individuals know as Astrology.
