Extremely Good Headphone For The Cost - Infrared Wireless Headphones Review

By Gabriel Hill

Or office and will enable you to rediscover music and put a smile on your face. I love the sound, I love the fact that when the song is over there is no hiss or static, Next song comes on and it emerges out of silence as clean as with a wired pair. I often hear things the rest of the family does not. I would recommend the RS180 for anyone with hearing problems.

It is for these two reasons that I was curious to see if Sennheiser had a solution to the line out idea. I called Sennheiser and spoke to someone who said that the 180's do have this feature.

The volume and balance are controlled by small, low-profile buttons on the outside of the right ear cup. For me, it's been tough to find and operate those buttons by feel.

The volume up and down are aligned left and right of each other, but there is a power button in the middle - making it easy to turn off. To make it more complicated, these 3 buttons are all unique sizes and shapes from one another, and don't feel like arrows or anything relative to what their function is. They just take some getting used to. All things considered, I highly recommend them. With a bit more smarts, the headphones could be made to standby in a low power mode, then ramp up when it detected a signal from the transmitter. Maybe that's too much to ask for the price.

Living in a one bedroom apartment, it's awesome to sleep in peace and quiet, while not forcing boyfriend to keep quiet as a mouse as he stays up late. I've owned these cans for a month now, and I can say this headphone is not bad. Control buttons are very close together and when first using them, you tend to push the wrong ones quite a bit. I consider this a minor inconvenience since after a bit of practice you can determine which buttons you want to use/adjust by feel.

I haven't encountered any interference to the headphone system caused by other appliances (wireless telephones and Wi-Fi) in my house. Nor have I encountered any interference to the other appliances caused by the headphone system. These are perfectly comfortable for extended periods; though I find I usually never have them on for more than a couple hours. Sometimes I just let them hang around my neck instead of putting them down; convenient.

I really like the headphones as they have excellent quality with amazing sound. It is slightly difficult at night (in the dark) to lower the volume as the buttons are flat but once you get the hang of it they are great and you can adjust without looking at them. Virtual surround sound makes you feel like you're at the movies. You never have to worry about dead batteries, they come with rechargeable batteries & the base where you store your head phones is a recharging station. He has done a disservice to his company, in my opinion. In conclusion, you won't be disappointed with the quality of sound and comfort of the 180's -- top notch. I had some reservations on these after reading some of the reviews saying that they are small or snug, because I have a ginormous head. My hat size is about 8 1/8, and I'm 6'8 so I'm just a large person in general.
