Lion Tattoos Can Roar Loudly

By Emily Diaz

Can you just hear a lion howl? Loud and pretty formidable, isn't it? The lion is the chief example of an animal with strength and courage - and has been so regarded for millennia. These attributes have been attached to lions in many cultures on the face of the earth.

Kings have made the lion their symbol. And the reason isn't hard to find. For millennia the lion has been called "the king of the beasts." It is the royal animal in the entire animal kingdom.

The people who select a lion tattoo usually go for a realistic representation. This can be a calm lion or a lion bearing its teeth and unleashing a thunderous roar. All you need is a talented artist, and that person will create a realistic lion somewhere on your body.

It can take on any size you may want. You may just have the head of a lion, or a whole lion inked into your skin. The size is completely up to your own wishes. From a few inches in size, it takes either the entire back or the front of your upper body. Any size in between is obtainable, too.

It can be fairly simple. Even a single-color can be extraordinary, if it's done well. But the truly nice tattoos of a lion tend to use more than one color. The eyes, the mane, the nose, the mouth, all can have their own colors.

And if you are really into realism, do reflect on getting this in a natural environment as its background. Want to see yours in a jungle or on the African planes? Such a setting will positively make your lion look better than most.

The cost that it takes- and the same goes for any other kind - depends on the size and the complexity of the design. The more colors used, the higher the cost is going to be. If you want a ferocious lion large in size against a natural background, be prepared to spend some money.

Whatever type of tattoos you may want for, do remember that they are great symbols of power and strength. If you can find a great tattoo artist, you are bound to have a great adaptation represented somewhere on your body. And you will be in outstanding company, among kings and other figures of royalty, to be exact.
